Riverside Apartment Refurbishment — Wapping, London

This full refurbishment project transformed a previously chaotic riverside apartment in Wapping into a calm, contemporary living space. Every element of the home was reimagined — from the bathroom and kitchen to the living and circulation areas — with a focus on clarity, functionality, and spatial harmony.

A key feature of the redesign is a custom-made sliding pocket door, discreetly integrated between the kitchen and living room. This flexible partition allows the spaces to be connected or separated as needed, enhancing both flow and privacy. When open, it frames a striking view of the River Thames from the kitchen, bringing natural light and a sense of openness into the heart of the cooking space.

The kitchen, though compact, was carefully planned for maximum efficiency. Crisp, modern finishes and smart storage solutions make the most of every inch, while underfloor heating throughout the apartment adds comfort and a clean aesthetic.

This project exemplifies how thoughtful design can bring tranquility and order to a previously disjointed space — creating a home that feels both serene and deeply connected to its riverside setting.
