Our Approach
Innovation. Beauty. Sustainability.
Natureworks is a research-led architecture and design practice driven by a passion for creating beautiful spaces that make a positive social and environmental impact.
We work intentionally on a select number of projects, allowing us to give each one the attention it deserves. Our goal is always the same — to design architecture that sparks joy for our clients and enriches the lives of everyone who experiences it.
For us, the natural world is not an afterthought — it’s a design partner. Trees, birds, plants, and flowers are just as much a part of our creative language as windows, doors, floors, and beams. We design with sensitivity to both the local environment and the global climate, creating spaces that feel connected, considered, and sustainable for generations to come.
Director
Natureworks was founded by Marc Tuitt, an architect with over 20 years of hands-on experience delivering high-quality, thoughtful architecture. Marc’s career spans award-winning practices, including his role in the Stirling Prize-winning Everyman Theatre with Haworth Tompkins Architects.
Educated at the University of Sheffield and the University of Cambridge, Marc has worked on a diverse range of projects — from intimate domestic refurbishments to large-scale cultural landmarks. His portfolio includes work with listed buildings, schools, offices, museums, theatres, and major residential developments.
Marc’s passion for architecture extends beyond practice into education and public engagement. He is the host of the Architecture Academy Podcast, an external tutor and examiner at the Welsh School of Architecture, an award-winning student mentor at the University of Sheffield, and a former unit tutor at Oxford Brookes University.
